Philipp Huebl is associate professor («Juniorprofessor») of theoretical philosophy at the University of Stuttgart. His research interests are philosophy of mind, action theory, philosophy of language, metaphysics, philosophy of science and epistemology.
He is author of the German popular science introduction to philosophy Folge dem weißen Kaninchen ... in die Welt der Philosophie («Follow the white rabbit ... into the world of philosophy») as well as articles on social and political topics in German papers and magazines such as FAZ, taz, UniSpiegel, Spiegel online and the online editions of El País and the Irish Times.
Born 1975 in Hannover, Germany, Huebl has studied philosophy and linguistics at Berlin, Berkeley, New York and Oxford. He has thaught at RWTH Aachen and Humboldt-Universität Berlin. He is a Fulbright-Scholar and Scholar of the German National Merit Foundation. Huebl has lectured in Antwerp, Barcelona, Belfast, Bielefeld, Groningen, Innsbruck, Konstanz, Krakow, Lisbon, New York, Potsdam, Utrecht and Zurich.
He lives in Stuttgart and Berlin.
